Podcast #5 (click to listen directly, without subscribing through iTunes, or preferably on the icon in the sidebar menu to go right to iTunes to subscribe properly) was posted yesterday and it's something that fellow Seoul metropoliticians interested in photography should find interesting. Instead of just talking at you, I simply start you off at Chungmuro Station (where lines 3 and 4 intersect) Exit #5, where you follow me with your ipod, as in a walking tour. This isn't a fully-featured podcast, since it's shorter and more geared for people who are interested in this particular thing.
However, it's also my first walk-n-talk recording session, something that I found to be a much harder thing to pull off than it may at first seem. Maintaining a calm speaking voice on a sensitive mike is really difficult to do while even talking the calmest of strolls. It's obviously not very physically demanding (hey, I'm not THAT out of shape!), so I realizing that I don't breathe properly when I speak. I obviously need to get my podcasting, speaking skills, and breath control into line – but that's where the fun lies, in terms of the benefits of trying new things. I'm always working on improving things, as well as working out a format that will give the podcasts structure and a regular familiarity.
Your comments have been well heeded and are much appreciated. Keep giving me feedback – I truly do enjoy and benefit from it!
