I got to attend the press screening of The Host, and even after having seen the film multiple times in order to massage the English subtitles, seeing it in full cinematic glory as a digital projection on a big screen was simply amazing. I was just as absorbed by the story – and seeing for the first time with fully finished sound and foley tracks really helped suck me back in.
After the show, I sat down with Darcy and a new friend to the podcast in a Coex Mall coffee shop for a quick and dirty breakdown. Their takes and analyses are must-hears before watching the film and can make the experience much more worth it.
