This class is designed for those who already have a basic knowledge of exposure in terms of aperture and shutter, depth-of-field, and fill flash. It's designed for anyone who has already taken the beginning class, as it's both brushup and photo challenges/problem solving such that your skills improve. And for those of you who've taken the first class, it's a perfect continuation for you, with the chance to continue principles learned in the first class, although they be applied in more specific and complex ways.
Studio Session II:
The first studio session was fun and involved learning how studio strobes worked, as well as a lot of "oohs" and "aahs" over how cool it is to get studio-clean shots at all. Now, it's time to pay attention to light and shadow, to controlling 2-3 lights, to the many subtleties that make studio lighting truly an art.
Outdoor & Street Photography:
You remember learning manual flash for fill? Think you're on top of the flash game? OK, then -- do it in Myeongdong on a Saturday evening in fully manual and aperture-priority modes with both moving and stationary subjects.
Specialized Photography:
Sports or runway photography with the long telephoto lens, macro shooting, long exposures, shooting with multuple flashes, multiple exposures, and more.
Photo Theory II and Wrapup:
Going over our pics, both failed and fancy, it's time to critique our many pics, learn from them, and really lock in some advanced advanced knowledge. Whatever leftovers floating around in your head that rernain to be explained -- we're gonna clean that up.
